Traces of life
What will I leave behind?
My world is woven from ordinary objects, each of which holds echoes of the past, filled with emotions and memories. But this fragile reality crumbles before my eyes, like archaeological artifacts. In an attempt to preserve the vanishing fragments of my life, I try to capture the imprints of time, as though conducting an excavation of my own existence.
Life is ephemeral, and the world around me seems immaterial and devoid of meaning. Everything around me is subject to destruction, just as I am.
Porcelain, like memory, is a delicate and yielding material. It deforms easily, yet it is capable of capturing the finest details that emerge from the haze of recollection. Like light penetrating through the thickness of time, our memory seizes upon these traces, making them visible.
The project is displayed on wooden structures with light panels that illuminate the porcelain from below, allowing the viewer to see the finest details.
