Pitch Black Heaviness
At the core of this work lies an exploration of hidden, painful emotions — those we prefer to keep silent about, not even allowing them into our thoughts. It is astonishing how the human psyche endures the blows of fate, balancing on the edge of fragile equilibrium. We are at once incredibly strong and astonishingly vulnerable — like a Gothic cathedral, where graceful arches bear an immense weight. This fragile strength found its expression in dark, yielding clay. My work is a dialogue with the material, minimalist and tactile, where the traces of my hands, the imprints of my fingers, become an inseparable part of the piece.
